Ultimate Frisbee 5-Week Curriculum
Three Tiers, Grades 2–8
A real coaching deliverable, fully specified down to the 45 working minutes:
I need you to design a five week curriculum for my ultimate frisbee league- it's for kids in grades 2-8, where the kids are broken up in grades 2/3, 4/5, and 6/7/8, so the curriculum should be designed in three tiers- with the youngest ones being simpler. Each week the kids meet on Mondays and Wednesdays for one hour. They warm up for the first 15 minutes, so the lesson plan should account for that and block out activities in the last 45 minutes. Not a huge fan of complicated drills, and I focus on teaching the kids how to throw and catch. I teach them the backhand and forehand throws, plus I teach them three angles to throw at - what i call flat, inside, and outside, but that disc golfers call hyzer and anhyzer I think? I also teach them the scoober and forehand and offhand backhand. I also teach the kids hex, which you should look up in KPs- there are a few KPs about ultimate you should look at. A stated aim whose made is a document the operator prints and takes to the field — a session output, not a standing repo artifact, so it isn't in the corpus; the prompt commissions it, and that commission is the specimen.

- A close-out marker: “execute autonomously” — make the plumbing decisions yourself, only surface the real forks.
- Hex
- A hexagon-based offensive scheme in ultimate frisbee; the operator coaches a variant of it and wants it reduced to a few generative rules.
